Webinar: Quantify protein interactions with mass photometry

Updated: Feb 19

We recently hosted a webinar featuring Dr. Grzegorz Piszczec, the Director of the Biophysics Core Facility at NIH, and Fabian Soltermann, a PhD candidate from the Kukura Group at the University of Oxford.

The webinar, now available on YouTube, discussed the following topics:

  • How mass photometry can accurately measure abundances of biomolecules in-vitro at the single-molecule level.

  • How we can use mass photometry to characterise and determine purity, stoichiometry, binding affinity and kinetics of multi-protein interactions.

  • How mass photometry results compare with those obtained by other biophysical methods.

  • More about a practical application of mass photometry: Quantifying interactions of antibody with Fc-receptors revealed influence of glycosylation and pH dependent interactions.

  • Which strategies can be used to obtain association equilibrium constant values from mass photometry data.

  • How to avoid pitfalls and overcome the limitations of mass photometry binding affinity measurements.
